3 weeks post op and need feedback

I'm 8 weeks out and still can only eat 2 ounces of some foods. I can do greek yogurt, the triple zero. It will get better but it takes time.

How Much Stomach is Taken Out?

I have no idea how much they took, but right now my stomach can hold approx 1/4 cup of food or less depending on the food itself. I am a month and a week or so post op.

    Approved! Pre op diet ?

i took my bp meds the morning of surgery as well. all surgeons have their own variations of preop diets. i did clear liquids and veggies for ten days then clear liquids for like 3 days and then typical nothing after midnight the day before. your surgeon will totally prepare you with lots of info!

Did you keep your surgery a secret?

i didn't plan on it being so public, but my dear fiance posted on fb and i actually had friends come out of the woodwork supportive for me! past co-workers offering help, current friends checking in. i am VERY lucky to have such support. my mother on the other hand has been hesitant since day one. she's still not convinced it's the right thing to do, but she's as supportive as she can be. i am quite sure i will one day run into "took the easy way out" people. if they think this is easy, well....i have a few choice words for them i'm not afraid to use!

    Any advice?

keeping in mind that it was for my surgery was a help for me. also, finding a good broth and Protein drink i liked was important. you can do it! just keep in mind why you're doing this!

i personally did not. i had changed so much already that i just decided to keep going. besides, if i had all my favorites, i'd have been in real trouble LOL!
