  1. I work in a similar environment and I was back after one week. I was also very lucky and had a complication free surgery. The advice I'm sure you have heard time and time again is to listen to your body and don't push it. - Louie
  2. Hello, I'm currently in the pre-op phase for my gastric bypass surgery (13 January) and was curious if anyone here has any information on how Multiple Sclerosis and weight loss surgery mesh. My main reason for getting this surgery is to give myself a head start in dealing with MS (healthy body = healthy immune system/less MS issues). Luckily, after a very crazy and aggressive first year, my MS has been mostly kind to me and I want it to stay that way. If anyone has any experience with MS after weight loss surgery, I would love to hear it. Thanks. - Louie
  3. I'll take that as a no... Anyone want to create a Gastric/MS thread? -Louie

Looking forward to the next phase..

Thank you very much for sharing. That whole article will prove to be valuable when I get to the mushy food stage.

    Any January Surgeries?

Marissa, I go under on the 13th as well. How have you found your pre-op liquid? Luckily, I haven't really had any real hunger pains and really look forward to my evening broth everyday. I don't know if you do anything to kick your broth up a notch but I have found that chicken broth with a good dash of Caribbean Jerk seasoning does the trick! - Louie
