Love your story! You are so right , this does work, but people need to want to change their life. I never comment on the whiners, they shouldn't of had the surgery if they weren't going to commit! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

cdsjjotn replied to Heatgirl03's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I quit on chantix also. Only side affect was the crazy dreams. I still tell my stories cuz they were so bazaar and we all get a good laugh. I also went off it early (didn't ween) nothing happened. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
I had my surgery on a Monday and went back to work the following Monday . If you can I would suggest 2 weeks only because I was still tired and needed to concentrate on getting my liquid in . I was to distracted at work. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

When does the hair falling phase end? and Should I dye my hair?
cdsjjotn replied to MozzaWehsha's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
My hair loss was from 3-6 months. Now that my weight loss has slowed down so has my hair loss. I took the Biotin , still do. It's thinner but the only ones that noticed was me and my hairdresser. I had chunks coming out it really freaked me out. Now it's been coming back there are short hairs sticking out all over the place ugh!! I control them with a serum #10 and hair spray. I never stopped coloring my hair , every 5 weeks , I refused to look gray and depressed, and coloring my hair always made me feel better . Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -

What's on your plate?
cdsjjotn replied to missblonde20's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
9 months post op 90 pounds lost , 12 till goal. My typical day: Breakfast: Monday-Saturday Premaire Protein shake Sunday only, 1 egg 1 bacon Mid morning: yogurt Lunch: tuna or chicken salad or couple slices of turkey wrapped in romaine Mid afternoon: hard boiled egg or Protein Bar before I hit the gym. Sometimes a handful of peanuts Dinner: 3-4 oz chicken 5 days a wk , beef 1 day a wk or pork 1 day a wk. side of green vegetable with every meal. Never eat after dinner, if my family is eating dessert I will have a sugar free ice pop. I keep myself busy at night, my house is always spotless now lol, I've also taken up gardening, or I will go for a walk. I only watch tv for about an hour if that at night before I go to bed. I used to late night snack watching tv prior to surgery so now I stay away from it. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
How long were you out of work?
cdsjjotn replied to ALittleMe0914's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I took one week. I also have a management desk job but was able to do some work at home. When I returned I was exhausted and I had to remind myself to drink drink drink. So I would suggest 2 weeks off just to give yourself time to heal and get used to getting your liquid in. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
