Soooo-two weeks post op wondering how everyone made themselves get into the habit of recording every portion size, drink etc. when you are busy busy working each day?

I typically track it in my head during my work day, but when I get home, I will spend some time recording because if I let it go a couple days, I will forget. My surgeon has us use MyFitness Pal, and it's a great program. I've use a lot of different trackers and I like this one the most of all the ones I've used.

I do 100g per day at the moment...
120-140 when I'm 'training'..
But as @CowgirlJane stated before, it's really a question for your nutritionist...

Everyone's body responds differently to this surgery. If your body is tired, make sure you are resting. But also you might want to make sure you are getting enough fluids. Being dehydrated makes you very tired, believe it or not! And it's very easy to get dehydrated when you are losing so much weight. Especially the first few weeks after the surgery. Good luck to you and hope you feel better!

I was week last night and had tacos with cheese, sour cream, and tortilla when Im not supposed to have any dairy or processed foods! I feel terrible guilty and its only five days until surgery. Good news?-Im down 21 lbs

Did the tacos taste good? If so, not the absolute worst thing. What a shame it would be if they'd been merely mediocre. Work on banishing "guilt" from your vocabulary. It's a futile, self-indulgent emotion -- ME! ME! ME! - and it goes nowhere fast. You've been doing something right to have lost 21 lbs. You'll be fine. You are fine.

Don't feel bad! It's not easy letting go of what you're used to. You've lost weight and that's what matters. One night, about 3 days before surgery, I have in and had a grilled chicken wing and it seemed like the best that I had ever tasted. My surgeon was proud of my 20 lb loss before surgery and things are going well.

Only nine days left until surgery!

A bit nervous about traveling to Mexico after some of the things Ive read lately!

After being on this forum for over two years, I think I have observed more often that our bariatric brothers and sisters have more complications with their local doctors, especially ones that don't do volumes of bariatric surgeries. If you do get your surgery in the states, don't take anything less than a hospital that is recognized as a Center of Excellence. They have more to lose if a doctor screws up.

Just wondering how much everyone lost their first six months after their sleeve surgery. I know each is different-just curious if you are willing to share.
