I lost 17 pounds in the the first week and then NOTHING for 2 weeks. I was very discouraged but at my 6 week check up I was down 30 pounds. Just be patient.

Yes ask questions. I think I didn't do enough research to know what questions to ask. Everyone there is very informative but I feel like I didn't understand the permanence of this procedure.

I have been very pleased. I'm almost 6 weeks post op now and I haven't had a single complication. I haven't even been sick one time! My hubby is having his surgery next month.

I'm 3 weeks post op tomorrow. I've been on solids since 1 week post op, but my doc said no eggs till 3 weeks out. I had my first one today (scrambled) with no issues. -
How much volume can your pouch hold?
chele315 replied to cocoa8utter's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
I had my surgery on 12/16 and I only eat 2oz at a time. Not sure if I can hold more because I haven't tried, but I also don't think I have felt "full" yet. -
Mine was sugar free jello, Popsicles, and juice.
-
Thanks y'all. I'll try both!

Has anyone found a chewable calcium that doesn't taste horrible? The ones I have tried are pretty bad.

Mine is 15lbs for 30 days.

I am a week and a half post op and feeling pretty good. My hubby and I want to go to Disney World next week but I'm worried I won't be able to find things I can eat. Any suggestions on what to eat when traveling?
