Try to get some variety in your liquids. Remember you don't have to count calories or watch sugar in this early phase. Try V8 Fusion. The grape raspberry is awesome. Simply Orange and Simply Apple juice are both really good. Get some popsicles. The Outshine brand has all different fruit popsicles. Stop somewhere and get a good milkshake. Try broth. Try the Carnation shakes. I totally get what you're saying about protein drinks. Some are really gross. I wasn't very hungry during the liquid stage, but my doctor and the nutritionist stressed staying hydrated. Make sure you're getting liquids in and please don't eat a burger! Good luck!
Mine was 12/16. I'm doing well. Still a little soreness around incisions, but not bad. I switched to soft food Wed 12/23. I had a scrambled egg and a piece of toast. Seriously the most delicious food ever! Hope everyone else is doing great and feeling good!
