Hi! I'm 6 days post-op on Lapband surgery. I went to Lapband of Louisville. Dr. Lusco is my doctor. I've been overweight since childhood and all my adult life. I turned 40 this year and I started to think more about my health. I'm already on a low dose blood pressure med and my knees sound like rice krispies. I was worried where obesity would lead me eventually...diabetes, knee replacement, heart attack? I think lapband is a step in the right direction. Surgery went well and so far recovery is going well. I have some soreness on my left side (which I believe is where the port is) and I can't sleep on my left side at all. It doesn't exactly hurt, but it's an uncomfortable feeling. I have some post-op questions and I found someone on Pinterest who had pinned about this forum. I'm excited to hear what others have experienced and if what I'm experiencing is normal. :)
