This has been a very long a frustrating journey for me. I am confident that I am finally o the right path. 7 years ago I had a band and was having really good success. then the band slipped, I had to have it replaced and it was a nightmare. It was never able to be regulated correctly. I could either eat everything or nothing. and lost absolutely no weight and felt horrible. So, I went back in to have the bypass done, the doctor had me sign just as i was going in for the surgery that he could do the sleeve if need be. He did end up doing the sleeve. Well. let me tell you I had absolutely no success with that. Felt no restriction at all. Even though I ate much smaller meals, I was losing nothing. So finally I had the bypass on 11/22/13. I am a few weeks out and healing well and feeling good. Having very high hopes that this will be the success I have been needing and looking for.
