Thanks for the kind words and encouragement I excited to be a big (weight) loser!
-
Thanks everyone. I started my clear liquids today been going nice and slow as directed. 4oz an hour with medicine cup pretty much sipping an ounce every 15min. After the first 4oz i felt a little bloated but I guess that's normal. Been walking a lot trying to get rid of this gas.

How to tell family/friends?
Justin Curtis replied to Ginger1217's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
i go in on the 30th and Ive told all my friends and family. Everyone has been so supportive of my decision. My mom is getting sleeved on January 4th and she's the complete opposite. Only my brother and I know about it. I guess its all comes down to personal choice. I am very open so i have no problem telling anyone. -

What Was Your Final "straw That Broke The Camels Back"
Justin Curtis replied to bigjoe102's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I've pondered the idea of surgery for the past 2 years but kind of wrote it off. The real straw that broke my back was a year ago I was on a family trip to disney world with my family. I couldn't fit on any of the rides its embarrassing when they march you past everyone after you can't fit on a ride. I finally had a breakdown that night and cried my eyes out in front of my parents. I finally had a enough of this life style. After we got home i finally got health insurance and started the process of finding a primary care physician and then the right surgeon. Fast forward to today and i am doing my 2 week liquid diet and my surgery date is on the 30th. I am very excited to say the least hahaha. -
