I'm in!! -
jerica-I'm hungry right after I have my protein. It doesn't even seem like an hour. I think I need to drink more continuously and we should be having protein every hour or 2.

Looking for someone to connect with after surgery

Don't get discouraged elfishman! It will start to come off. I have a friend that's over a year out and hers came off slow for the first 3 months or so and then picked up. She looks great, so just keep plugging along with protein and water! -
Looking for someone to connect with after surgery

I had my surgery on 12/14. I'm 39 and my starting weight was 229. I'm trying not to weigh myself everyday, but I weighed this morning and I was down to 218. I'd love to be able to chat with you guys on the fb page, so I just requested. -
I was sleeved on 12/14 and before I went out I ended up telling more people what I was up to than I originally intended. I really focused on the positive benefits for my health and my inability to stick to a diet/lifestyle change on my own. Most people were supportive and positive, but I'm sure there will be some negative nellies. Explaining the science behind it and how it is a tool actually made me feel more positive about what I was doing and I feel like I'm educating people about something most know very little about. Good luck with whatever approach you take!
