I am craving fresh fruit so bad. I am camping and I want nothing more than a big slice of watermelon... I am noticing that I am not even craving unhealthy stuff any more... All I really want is watermelon and salad!

So I am one week post op, still on liquids and I am having the hardest time getting in the 70 grams of protein I need each day! It just doesn't seem possible! What were some of your experiences?

Try mixing it with decaf coffee and milk! Tastes so much better!

I'm thinking too soon for that... I would wait another week or so!

Great! @@macdonaldkelly !!! I managed to have 2oz of low fat ref ride Beans... My stomach is a little heavy feeling but that's it! I would like to talk about how I think about food... Pre op, my thoughts were all about how to get, make, or eat food and making sure I got my "fill." Now pre op, my fill was WAY beyond a serving! I still have that mentality now and am working tirelessly to change it... I need help, tips, motivation... Lay it on me!

I still have "those thoughts" about food. Even when I'm physically satisfied I still mentally want to keep eating until I have a "normal" amount. That has been my biggest struggle the past few days

I haven't had issues with liquids until tonight.... Tomato soup... I have chest pain and can feel it up to my throat... It is during a bbq at my moms house and it stinks.... I've been lucky until now...@@sarahb309 maybe you had too much too fast? Or close to Protein...I had that issue with soup and though it took me so long and had to reheat went slow n it went down a lot better Sent from my iPhone using BariatricPal I'm thinking I ate too much too fast... I am much better now... Just really full.

I have literally been a wreck all day because of head hunger!

I am extremely grateful for this opportunity, but I can't help but notice feeling regret right now... I have been extremely weak and tired and essentially house bound... You don't notice how much revolves around food until you can do that stuff any more... Any advice or words of encouragement?

Okay... So I'm still in lots of pain from gas, particularly shoulder, neck and chest area, but I've been trying to get in fluids every 15mins And have been doing walks to try and help.... Another think helping me is doing"windmills" with my arm to help move the gas down.... I have had gas and bowel movements so I don't expect to have pain much longer

I'm in a decent amount of gas pain... Had to use morphine just to bet me to sleep and I keep waking up...[emoji19]

This sounds like fun! I'm having surgery tomorrow! CW-346 GW-320... If anyone thinks this goal weight is to low or high let me know! I am not sure how much I should expect to lose by then with the rny!
