I'm with you on this one!! I'm currently at 207 and I hope to be at 199 before May 9th. Good luck everyone!!

YAY!! My goal for this month will (again) be 10 pounds. Welcome aboard, Paula & :gluck: everyone.

Tylenol is not an NSAID but Aleve is. My doctor didn't specifically tell me to stay away from NSAIDs but I stay away from them. If I don't have liquid adult Tylenol, then (and only then) I will take ibuprofen (NSAID).

Well, today is the last day of March and, although I didn't meet my personal goal of a 10 pound loss, I am only 1 pound away. I'll take it! Congratulations to everyone on their losses and commitment to this club. I look forward to April's thread. :biggrin1:

I didn't see any reason to purchase fitday.com for my PC. The free version has everything I need. As far as vitamins are concerned, if you add your multi-vitamin as a custom food and include it in your daily caloric intake, it will change your vitamin needs report. By the way, I like the new look of fitday.com

Welcome to the club, MoOrLess!

Great news! Thanks for keeping us updated. :biggrin1:

The difference is basically the cut of the pants. Most designers start with a sewing form and go up or down depending upon typical body measurements. I read somewhere that Misses sizes start with a size 8 form and Women's/Plus sizes start with a size 12 form. Women's/Plus size pants are cut with a little extra room in the mid-section and thighs. With that said, if you can fit into an 16W, you can most likely fit into a 18M. I hope this helps.

Ok, Philly Bandsters, how about lunch in May?

That's my birthday and I wish I could join you for lunch! Have fun!! -
I feel safe telling you now because the show should be over for the West Coast folks. Lisa Tucker was voted off. Too bad though, I thought she had tremendous talent for such a young age. I wanted Ace to be voted off. He bugs the living S**T out of me!!

I think the idea of a monthly Gone For Good Club thread, with the Members Page and Honors Page at the beginning, is a great idea!! :biggrin1: P.S. I checked my stats and they look fine.

Is it just me or does anyone else find it odd that someone would go under the knife to have Lap Band surgery but not do a bit of research beforehand? I can't understand why people do this blindly then have the audacity to ask the thousands of questions they SHOULD have researched before the band was placed. I risk the chance of being flamed for asking this question but I just had to. It's been bugging the heck out of me for months. Ok, I'll get off of my soapbox now. :faint:

Happy 6 months to you as well. 75 pounds is amazing....congrats to you!! I've been a bit bad this past week when it comes to food and exercise. I've splurged and had a few (big) cookies and haven't exercised like I should. I've also grazed a few times. I guess we just have to tell ourselves what we know to be true.....eat proper meals and STOP grazing. It's mind over matter and (sometimes) easier said than done. I'm going to make an effort to be good and start exercising again. I wish you the best of luck.

You're very welcome. I found Shakeerah's begging and this ebay listing to be absurd. Some people have no shame and will do anything.

Oy vey! I thought this might be that same woman that was on here recently begging for donations. Here's the thread.... http://www.lapbandtalk.com/showthread.php?t=15756 By the way, this woman has 2 ebay listings asking for people to pay for her lapband surgery. http://cgi.ebay.com/Make-Me-Thin-Pay-for-My-Lap-Band-Weight-Loss-Surgery_W0QQitemZ9501785519QQcategoryZ88433QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/Make-Me-Thin-Pay-for-My-Lap-Band-Surgery-Dutch-9-99_W0QQitemZ9501848071QQcategoryZ88433QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I too enjoy the South Beach protein bars, both chocolate and peanut butter. If I don't drink a protein shake for breakfast, I'll have one of them instead (or at least 1/2 of one).

Haven't been there or done that....YET

Hi Judy, You've come to the right place! LBT is GREAT!! To answer your question, yes, I am extremely happy with my decision to be banded. I would do it again, in less than a heartbeat! As you can see by my stats below, I was banded a little over 6 months ago and I'm down 66 pounds. I'm 48 lbs. from my goal weight and hope to reach it by my 1 year mark. Best of luck to you with your decision. Tricia
