My surgeon recommended Flintstone's Chewables Multi-Vitamin (2 per day) in place of a regular pill. That's what I take every day, along with 2 Viactiv calcium chews.

I go for a fill on Tuesday of next week. I've been at a stand-still for almost 2 weeks and hope that this will jump start the weight loss again. I also noticed that I'm extremely hungry 2 hours after I eat. Good luck everyone!

November 2005 4-16-06 non-driver's license photo I don't see much difference. People have always commented on how I never had a chubby face. Hmm...who knows? -

Here are shortcuts when "copy" or "paste" options are not present. Copy = hightlight text and then hold down Control and "C" at the same time Paste = hold down Control and "V" at the same time I hope this helps. -
filet mignon, popcorn, or no-bake peanut butter & oatmeal cookies (I made some this morning :faint: )

LOL...good ones! I did my DH's and it came up with this. :biggrin1: :Banane56: :biggrin1: The Too Good to Hurry Lenny.

LOL....now this is freaky (and appropriate!!). Half the Tricia, All the Taste.

I also read this book several years ago. Wally Lamb is a wonderful author. It's too bad he's only written 2 novels. The other novel is entitled I Know This Much Is True, which is also a great read. Completely different subject, but very good nonetheless. He did write a collection of stories from women in York Correctional Institution, but it's just not the same.

LOL...I think I'll always have big boobs, so I guess I'm stuck with JMS-style bras. I tried on a very cute 38D bra the other day and, although it fit perfectly, it just didn't have the support needed for my big boobies.

I was a self-pay patient and I don't know much about Medicaid, but from what I understand, they do pay for the surgery as long as you have it done at a Medicaid approved hospital. Check with your local surgeon and their insurance department/people may have some better answers for you. You may also wish to contact Medicaid and ask them directly. Good luck.

There is no valve, or other object, outside of your body. The band, the tubing, and the port are all inside of your body. Someone is giving you false information about the port, which is what is accessed when fills are done. It's typically placed under the skin, between the fat and the muscle. A syringe, which contains saline, is inserted into the port. Your doctor will determine how much saline is required at the time of each fill. As far as the outcome of the surgery, most people have good results. Remember, it is a weight loss tool that should be used properly. This is a great place for research. I hope this answers your questions. Good luck.

Yes, Andrea Bocelli is an opera-style singer. He's blind and has a beautiful voice.

Welcome to the club, Kim & Linda!

The feeling is quite mutual, my friends.

I'm looking forward to hearing Andrea Bocelli sing.

I was rather shocked myself. Ryan split them up into groups of 3 - Elliott, Kellie & Katharine and then Chris, Paris & Ace......then asked Taylor to stand next to the group he thought was safe. He stood by Elliott, Kellie & Katharine and then Ryan confirmed that his guess was correct.
-
Chris, Paris and Ace were in the bottom 3. Ace went home tonight.....thank GOD!! He drove me nutso.

I've also always had self-confidence and never had a body image issue. I think what I was struggling with was actually SEEING a difference in my body. Like I said in the other thread, it wasn't until I purchased smaller size clothing that I actually saw a difference. I can definitely tell a difference when I look at my progress pictures.

No weight change this week for me. Good luck to all!

LOL...hey, I'll join ya if you want me to. :biggrin1: If you feel this warrants its own thread, I'm all for it.
