 Welcome to the GFG Club, 503!

Yes, I had shingles in my mid-20's due to stress from a former employer. You really need to get to the doc immediately so that he can prescribe an antibiotic as well as pain medication. I got some relief for the rash from calamine lotion. FYI - the pain from shingles is very deep and can last up to 6 months even after the rash is gone. Good luck!

Teabagging is a slang term for the act of a man placing his genitals, specifically the scrotum, on the face, head, or in the mouth of another person. Chilidogging When you are tit f**king a girl and you take a dump on her chest to provide lubricant. The resulting penis covered in excrement between her tits resembles a disgusting chili dog.

LOL...whateva! :biggrin1: Speaking of misspellings, this is one of my favorite images.

I've seen this mentioned on the "Self Defense" thread but wanted to share with all of you some more information on the subject. Prior to my having surgery, my husband and I took Krav Maga classes for a few months before our schedules forced us to quit. Now that things have lightened up a bit, we will be resuming our classes very soon. The class is 1 hour long and kicks your A**!! You're constantly moving and the sweat just pours off of you. I would recommend it to anyone interested in an intense workout. Krav-Maga (translates to Contact Combat) is the highly effective battle tested Israeli system of self defense, fighting skills and defensive tactics. http://www.kravmaga.com/krav01.html You can locate a Krav Maga class near you by clicking on the link below. http://www.kravmaga.com/schoollocations.asp

Hmm...I click Edit on the initial post and change the title. Maybe things have changed since the last time I started a thread. Update: I just tried changing the title of my recent thread and nothing happened. Oops...sorry for the misinformation.

Dr. Lavin performed my surgery almost 1 year ago and, as of today, I've lost 92 pounds. He's a great surgeon and has a terrific bedside manner. I would recommend him to anyone. As far as fills are concerned, I've been very pleased with their Covington office and staff. I'm very aggressive when it comes to my fills and Chris (the Nurse Practitioner who does them) accommodates me with a smile on her face. Never once have they not scheduled me for a fill when I've called for an appointment. I've had 8 fills and 1 partial unfill.

P.S. You can also edit the thread title. :huggie:

My suggestion would be to have someone hide the scales and only let you weigh yourself once every 2 weeks. :biggrin1: It has worked wonders for me.

Absolutely! -
Good for her! She sounds like a spunky lady. Actually, my mom has nassatall so I'm not sure where mine came from. I'm not complaining though. I'm quite fond of my butt...so is my hubby! :biggrin1:

Ha ha...nah, I was just being silly. *shakes what her momma gave her*
-
LOL @ Susan! You silly woman. Krav Maga isn't a person, it's a form of Israeli military training taught here in the US to civilians as well as police officers, FBI agents, military personnel, etc. Wow @ your mom taking kickboxing. That's impressive. And the skydiving thing...I desperately want to go. My nephew went for his 18th birthday a few weeks ago and I'm sooooo jealous! *shakes her Librarian buns again*
-
Hi Vickie - I'm happy to hear that you're pleased with Krav Maga classes. What a great NSV too!

*shakes her Librarian buns* *looks for Telly*

No, my dear, it was up in a bun. I like the librarian look now and again. *wink*

Yes, it is a new avatar. I just put it up a few minutes ago. Thank you so much for the sweet comment. :huggie: If I could find my digicam, I'd take updated photos and post them on the Before & After Photos thread. But, for now, I have to make do with my cell phone camera. I'm not sure I could get decent full-body shots with it though...ugh!!

Okay everyone, in unison......"Hi Susan!"

Dr. Fitzpatrick in Portland and Eugene
Tricia K. replied to deckedout's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Thanks for posting this. My best friend from Redmond is being banded by Dr. Ortiz on September 22nd. She had originally scheduled with Dr. Kuri but changed her mind after some more research. Even though there's a Fill Centers USA location in Bend, I'm glad to know that Dr. Fitzpatrick is willing to do fills for Mexico patients. I'll pass this information along to her. Thanks again! :huggie: -
