Congratulations on getting your first fill. More often than not, you will not have good restriction after getting your first fill. It may take until the 2nd or 3rd fill to find proper restriction. Plus, it has only been 2 days since you got your fill and it may take up to a few weeks to kick in. Please be patient and listen to your body. :second: Good luck!!

That's ok, sweetie. :second: Thanks for the kind words. Yes, we did start at around the same weight. I was 274 the day of surgery. I have been banded for exactly 8 months and 2 days. My weight loss has slowed the past month and a half but I'm hoping with my most recent fill this past Tuesday that it will kickstart it again. I'm actually back up to 200 but I refuse to change my ticker!! You're doing really well. Best of luck to you!!

I lie down when I do my leg lifts. This is the order that I do them: 1) I lie on my side and lift up 2) move to my hands and knees and then lift from the back 3) lie sort of on my butt/side and lift up the inner thigh 4) lie on my back and lift from the floor up 5) back to the side and lift up I do this 50 times for each leg, which adds up to 500 total.

C 200 (- 74 total, + 2 this week) I got a fill of .2cc yesterday so I'm up to 2.7cc now. I hope this does the trick. Since having .3cc taken out 2 weeks ago due to being too restricted, I've been eating like crazy so I put on the weight that I had lost, plus 1 pound. Yesterday, at the doctor's office, I weighed 202. This morning it is 200. I hope to see 198 again very soon.

You're very welcome. I'm so glad that you had such a good time.

Susan - great news on your average monthly weight loss. That's fantastic. I'm happy to hear that you're progressing well and that your doctor is pleased. And, remember that it only takes 21 days to make something a habit....so, get back to that gym. Diane - When I had .3cc removed after my last "too restricted" episode, I went back to eating everything in sight....and lots of it. I just went back in today to have .2cc put back in. I'm hoping that this will be the level of restriction that I am used to. On another note, I don't really have any soft or hard stop but just get full. That's when I stop eating. Kristin - I'm happy to hear that you've found some relief from the water/shakes drama.

2.5 hours of bowling Tomorrow it is back to the grind!

Thanks, FunnyDuddies. I'm glad to hear that you're increasing the time for your workouts and that your liquid diet is going well.
-
Diane - I'm glad to hear that you're doing better! I felt the same way when I had my slight unfill. She took all of it out, had me sit up, and I chugged an entire 16 oz. bottle of Water. I was sooooo thirsty after not being able to eat or drink for 4 days. Heather - you go, girl! Working out can be hard but the results are fun.

I went in for surgery at 8am and was in the car riding home at 10:30am, the same day.
