I'm originally from Oregon and thought this might of interest to those living in the Pacific Northwest. I found this website while researching something other than pricing, but wanted to share it with everyone. The self-pay price indicated below is the same as what I paid here in Louisiana. I'm not sure whether or not it covers a year of follow-up care and fills like mine does but it's worth looking into. Quoted directly from website: "Special Pricing for LAP-BAND! For self-pay patients, the Northwest Center for Weight Management is offering the most competitive packaged price for LAP-BAND surgery in the Pacific Northwest: $12,800.00 includes the hospital, surgeon, and anesthesiologist fees. For more information, call us at 1-800-823-6525." https://www.fhshealth.org/bariatric/paying.asp It looks as though they're based out of Tacoma, WA but will operate in partner hospitals in Enumclaw, University Place, Federal Way, Gig Harbor and Lakewood.

Here you go, Debby. P.S. You look fantastic! -
You're not missing much. I don't like them at all. I can't understand the hype about them either.

I saved a pair of my largest pants (size 26) as well as my surgery day clothes (size 22/24). I occasionally take photos with them on to compare to the day of surgery. A few of them are located at www.triciakutz.com/surgery.html in the event anyone wishes to check them out.

Whoaaaaaaa... Locking threads at will?
Tricia K. replied to princess_n_thep's topic in Rants & Raves
Dody, I concur. Below is the response I had typed up but was unable to post due to the thread being locked. I'll take dead horses for $1000, Alex. I've held my tongue for entirely too long on this subject. Not anymore. My God, DeLarla, haven't you done enough damage with your rhetoric? You spew the most ridiculous nonsense on this board. You start accusatory threads filled with malice and yet, you have the audacity to accuse others of exactly what YOU are doing. Do you ever take an honest look at yourself before you post something? I am inclined to think not. Furthermore, do you honestly think that people are following YOU around? Are you that narcissistic to think that the general population of this message board cares that much about you? Guess what? They don't. What I find comical is that you attempt to control what other people do and say on this board as though you're some God to be obeyed. Again, how narcissistic. I'm a cheerleader for no one but I do appreciate and respect several people on this message board. You are not one of them. Instead, I have pity for you because you don't know the true meaning of caring nor do you know how to let go of your pride. I hope that some day soon you look deep inside yourself and see exactly what it is that you're doing. -

You know, you have a very skewed sense of reality because my most recent post is the FIRST time I've contributed to this thread. And, Susan happens to be my friend and doesn't scare me in the least. I'm out of here.

What an ugly and classless thing to post. You should be ashamed of yourself.

EDIT - duplicate post For all of the preaching and "forum rules" reminders that have been going on around here, all I see is a bunch of hypocritical mods. I'm extremely disappointed and will most likely stop visiting this message board for a while.
