  1. My first choice would be Sara Rue, but I also like Mia Tyler's body, which is probably where I'll end up.
  2. She stars in the ABC sitcom Less Than Perfect with Andy Dick.
  3. @ Brad Pitt! Oops, wrong thread.
  4. None of the above. I'm shooting for a body like Sara Rue.

    Needing numbers please

My surgeon and his nurse practitioner are fine with my consuming an average of 800-900 calories per day. I've been doing this from the start and have been averaging 1-2 pounds per week. I wasn't a big eater to begin with, which is part of the reason why they're ok with it. As far as carbs are concerned, I try (notice I said "try) to limit my total daily intake to 50 grams per day. With the fat grams, I try to limit my total intake to 30-35% of total calories per day.

    Soda's ???????????????!!!!!!!

My surgeon recommended against caffeine for the first 8 weeks but said I could have it after that. I always use Splenda though. As far as soda is concerned, my surgeon advises against it due to all of the carbonation in it. Pre-banding, I drank diet soda. Since being banded, I've had a few sips, nothing more. I'm all about the flavored Water now.
  7. A good colon cleansing never hurt anyone. Then again, I wouldn't know.:eek
  8. Indeed, I do. Hmm....well, maybe some milk of magnesia. I've never really had an issue with it but my surgeon recommended that I buy it just in case. Or, have a small salad for dinner. Roughage, ya know.
  9. Hee hee!! Have I mentioned lately that you're a dork?
  10. There she goes rolling around on the floor again. I wonder if she's getting rug burns.

    Normal 1st fill amount

For a 4cc band, my surgeon won't give any more than 1cc for the first fill.
  16. I lost roughly 19-20 lbs. between surgery and my first fill.

    Food Journal Thread

Considering you've only had 1 fill, you probably don't have restriction so it's no wonder you're eating more than I am right now. I was eating more prior to having proper restriction too. I've never been a big eater though. How long ago was your fill? Whenever I get hungry after 2-3 hours and/or I can eat substantially more at one meal, I know it's time to get a fill. If that sounds like what you're experiencing, you may wish to make an appt. to get a fill. Please discuss with your doctor what you're eating and how often so that you he/she can determine the proper amount of your fill. I answered your latte question in a private message.

Great post! Thanks, Elizabeth. Alexandra - this thread reminds me of a not-so-recent thread of mine. I'm wondering if I should bump it now.
