    Gone for Good Club - June 2006

    Hi everyone! I just wanted to let you all know that I'm heading up to New Jersey tomorrow so I won't be on LBT until I return early next week. I'm actually in the process of packing, etc. so this will probably be my last post for a few days. I'm so proud of everyone! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
  2. *raises hand* I'm a BIG (pun intended) fan of performing oral sex and I've been known to gag. Like diedre said, the gagging is not related to your stomach but rather your throat. No problems here!

    Anyone had Laser Hair Removal?

    I've had it done on my upper lip, the tops of my toes and my feet. I've had excellent results. I've had 2 treatments on my upper lip and I'm very pleased. The toes/feet thing was recent, so I'll be going back for my 2nd treatment in a few weeks when the new hair growth comes in. Like someone else said, the level of power does make a difference. During my first treatment, the tech used a lower level for safety/testing reasons. Based on the results, she turned up the power for the 2nd treatment. I wish you the best of luck!

    Ugh...we've been soooo busy the past few days trying to sell our house, etc., I haven't really had time to exercise like I want to. So, today, I just rode my bike for 3 miles. I need to get back to the toning exercises soon. I miss them! I never imagined I'd say that I miss exercising. :biggrin1:

    Donna - you're very welcome. :hug: If your body is still sore today, maybe you should give yourself a day off. I would suggest starting out at 3 times a week and then build up from there. Your trainer is right, if the lunges are hurting your knee, you shouldn't do them. There are other ways to build up muscle and strength in your legs. I have a bad knee too so I try to stay away from them or just do a few. niche - good news on the weight loss and fitting into a size 31 jeans. :clap2:

    Thanks, Donna. I'm happy to hear that you at least tried the weight training class. Remember, the more you go, the easier it will get. And, think of the benefits after the Aspircream (sp?) rub down.

    From my understanding (and I may be wrong), any attempt at weight loss, whether medically supervised or not, will be considered when applying for coverage. However, I think that your doctor has/had to be aware of it so that it's written in his/her charts.

    Straws or no straw

    I love drinking my iced lattes or iced coffees with a straw. For some reason, they just taste better that way. So...to answer your question, I've had no problems with them.
