So annoyed and I need to get over it!

This. Just this. My husband and best(only friend) are the only ones I even told about looking into bariatric surgery( waiting to see about insurance and how much a consult will be) they were both SOOOO VERY UNSUPPORTIVE.....but he tells EVERYONE. It's not his damn business to share!!! "Well they will know something is up if it does happen" ect well that's MY PLACE to deal with not yours!! So I come here to talk because nobody else is nice about it -

I read a lot of bad reviews about follow up for them, did you have any issues? Really? I'm surprised because I have had zero problems. They send me a text the day before each appointment and they are always so nice. I'm about 2 1/2 months post op. Where did you see bad reviews for them? Their Facebook is full of them. -

With the sleeve you still have to take vitamins everyday correct? So what's the difference between taking them with the sleeve and with bypass? -

Yes I'm wondering that too, I'm at 42 now and scared to "lose" because I have heard insurance has denied people due to dropping BMI. -
WHERE are you going to do surgery, what clinic/Doctor? I am overwhelmed with options of who to call and talk to.
-
And the opposite. How did you decide?

I also fear this. I don't want to leave my kids without a mommy....which is also what's pushing me to do this -
Waiting on Insurance

I have Cigna and they do cover weight loss surgery. Call the number on your Cigna ID card and ask them for a copy of your employer's particular policy. Weight loss surgery is option and some employers opt out. What all did you have to do to be approved? My BMI is right at 42 but is there a waiting period and tons of appointments? -
