Hello Everyone!
My name is Nina and I stumbled upon this site while binging what I could have at Starbucks when the time came. I spent a long time considering WLS. My mother and I started our journeys together in 2011 going to support groups and talking to doctor about the requirements for insurance coverage. Sadly, my mother passed away and I abandon our start on this journey. A few years passed before I started to think about trying again. I officially started my journey and doing the requirements for my insurance in May of 2015 (My mothers birthday month). I got approved right away after I finished what I needed to do on my end and the insurance company did on their end. My Surgery date was December 7, 2015!
I was blessed with a great support system and was able to get the confidence to finish what I started with my mother.
Highest weight: 350 lbs :blush:
Surgery day weight: 332 lbs
Goal weight: I'm happy just losing some weight! But I will be excited once I get to around 200 lbs! I will go as far as I can. B)
