    Why is onederland so evasive?!

I absolutely feel your frustration. Hopefully we get there soon! Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App

    Just starting journey

Michael, congrats on making this decision. For me, the liquid diet wasn't as hard as I had psyched myself up for. I was able to sit at the table while my family ate dinner and I drank my shake. Have plenty of Jello and Popsicles available so you can chew if you feel the need. I had RNY on January 20, 2016. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have. Read up on this site and keep yourself informed of what to expect at each phase. It helped me a lot to know that what I was experiencing/feeling was "normal". IUD - What should I expect?

I've had 2 Mirenas, one before kids and 1 after. The 1 after was much less painful. The one before hurt, like severe cramping, while they inserted it and I was a little sore for an hour or so after. I would have been able to go out that evening though. I did bleed pretty heavily for almost a month after the first one. Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App

    Surgery after pregnancy

It was mine also. Just make sure you listen to your body and don't overdo it. Do you have someone who can help the first 5 days or so? My mom stayed 5 days and that helped us a lot.

    Surgery after pregnancy

My son was 16 months old and 25 lbs when I had my bypass. I didn't pick him up for the first week and a half. I picked him up the second week and only held him for small periods of time. I'm now 4 weeks out and hold him as needed with no issues. Sent from my SM-G900V using BariatricPal

    Anyone have RNY on 01-18-16

Mine was on 1/20. I'm on purees for 1 more week then move to soft foods. I've had no problems.
  10. I'm 33 and I had my surgery on a Wednesday then was able to start work the next Monday. I worked from home just so I could rest if needed but I ended up working 8s each day. I could have gone into the office but was on FMLA so I enjoyed avoiding people for a week if I wanted to.

2 days postop... How did you feel?

@@BrightEyes42 I'm ending week 1 of purees and it really hasn't been bad. I eat a lot of soups, tomato and basil, split pea, lentil with Italian sausage, or I make the ricotta bake mentioned above or refried beans with cheese. I'm making a chili this weekend and will see how it is blended.

    Dizziness!

I'm 10 days post op and dizzy every time I stand up or sometimes when just walking around. I thought it was my body adjusting to the changes.

    Saggy Arms

Look on pinterest for arm exercises. There some with videos that help.
