im starting to feel depressed about all this. doctor said my sleeve is swollen i was hospitalized for a week because of very low potassium and dehydration. even water hurts. i guess im healing very slow. protein shakes i cannot do or anything thick im only on water and broth im always tired my body aches. im so miserable

i still cant eat im still on liquids. I regret doing this surgery ????

I found it much easier to get the fluids in at the hospital too. At home, I worked really hard yesterday and I was only able to get 41 ounces Thts a great idea well today i saw my doctor she started me on Protein shakes I have to drink a shake every 2 1/2 hours and it's so hard right now I'm hungry ugh it's so hard. At least I lost 16 pounds. That would have been a struggle for me without the sleeve 16 pounds so far is awesome!! I have lost 12 so far. How about everyone else? I feel like once I start eating solids I may gain a pound just because there will be food in my stomach but I'm good with that. Feeling great today and water and broth is going down so much easier today than in the past. I start work again on Thursday but from home for a week instead of the office. I'm already restless. If I was off any longer I would be working on home repairs and probably hurt myself. I'm so scared to gain but do you get hungry today I ate lentil soup it's so good for Iron. And tomorrow I see the nutritionist so she can start me on puree foods I can't wait. i lost 24 pounds so far!! congrats to all!

dont be scared the incisions dont hurt. what hurts it that i got an hernia repaired that was pushing on my diaphragm muscle. you will be ok with the sleeve. good luck to you. pain feels like u did like 100 situps kinda like soreness.

i have severe pain im not able to eat anything. just ice chips im not hungry at all. if i try to sip a little bit of broth my stomach hurts severly kind of like cramping. my oxygen levels were low too. im suffering guys im on percocet every 4 hours and still feel so much pain.I felt the same way when I tried to eat the jello and broth. I only at 1/3 or it, and then had pain when I did. The Lord is close to those that are suffering. I'm praying for us. Also, you can call on Him too, when you're afraid. Also, remember...this surgery isn't easy...but the choices we had were to remain the same or get woese...and that was painful too. If you really feel like something is wrong, have them call the Doctor to maybe run a scan. Did you do the swallow test yet? im praying for all of us. everything is ok. they just said that its spasm and thats causes pain. i was crying all night because of the pain they crush the percocets and mix with broth or jello but at soon as it hits my stomach the pain is so unbearable its for at least a minute and then goes away. water hurts too. tried diet snapple tiny little sips and i can take it. my mom made me some homemade chicken broth and i can only do a tiny little sip almost nothing. pray for me guys

im still in hospital nurses said there spasm. i get 2 percocets every 4 hours plus the little med pump. pain in bad im still not able to eat just sucking on ice.

I have bad pain too. I was on th Delodid pump that i pushed myself, until this afternoon. Then they changed me to Percocet every 4 hours, and tylenonl. Can they give you some Tylenol. I tried eating some broth and jello and my stomach hurt, anf I felt sick, got bad hiccups, but didn't reallg feel full. It's what's to be expected....We just had our surgeries yesterday. Little bu liytle it will get better. Praying for us all. im in so much pain that im regreting this. its horrible.

im in horrible pain. 4 hours in surgery due to my doctor finding an hernia pushing into my diaphragm muscle. it hurts so bad to swollow to breath to cry. and remember my last post that my husband left me, well guess what guys he never showed up. only my mom and dad and my ex husband. it feels horrible but that was my wakeup call. hope u guys are doing well. as of right now im not able to eat it hurts so bad only sucking on ice chips. thank god i have no gas pains. congrats you did it. praying for you for a speedy recovery

Me too!what time is your surgery?It's scheduled for me to be there at 7:30 am (Eastern Time), so sugety will probably be at 9:00 am (6am your time). Say a prayer for me What time is yours? I'm praying for us all today!mine is at 12:15pm pacific time. i will pray for all of us too! good luck keep us posted!

im so nervous guys! the day is almost here!

my husband left me 10 days before surgery! 2 days before valentines day! cant believe this. he said he rather leave me now because after surgery when i loose weight i would not care or love him anymore! is this really happening to me!??
