"Calm" it is heaven sent. It was recommended to me by someone in my support group that is several years out. It is magnesium, that you mix with Water. I take it everyday, and it keeps me regular. The directions say 2 teaspoons mixed with water. Not quite enough for me, I take 3 teaspoons, but I know someone that takes 4, you just need to find out what works for you. I buy mine at sprouts, but you can get it online as well! Sent from my SM-G935T using the BariatricPal App

I was literally out of bed within 15 minutes after I got into my room. I had to wait for them to take out my catheter. One pretty nurse, and a pretty nursing student from Santa Monica college. Just out of surgery, and I am already getting attention from the ladies! Lol As far as pain, I never took my pain medication after I left the hospital because I didn't need it. As far as pain, I felt like I did a bunch of sit-ups the night before, nothing I couldn't handle Sent from my SM-G935T using the BariatricPal App -

Hey, I am doing great, 9 weeks out, I have lost 40 since the surgery, lost a lot the first couple weeks, then I have been averaging about 3-4 pounds a week, and I had a stall for a little over 2 weeks. Physically I am doing great! Getting all my walking in, usually hitting my 10,000 steps and more on my fitbit, and now starting to weight lifting. Did I mention my pants are 10" smaller since the beginning of options! Sent from my SM-G935T using the BariatricPal App -

I thought that the took sugar free pudding off the list. I had my surgery in February and wasn't allowed pudding, but let me tell you, Sugar Free Jello was my go to. I should have taken a picture of our refrigerator. My daughter made a box of Jell-O, India filled 2oz cups. There were 2-3 dozen cups stacked! Lol Sent from my SM-G935T using the BariatricPal App -

I was sleeved 7 weeks ago, and combined with my pre-surgery weight loss, I am dowm 72 pounds. I had a great experience a couple nights ago. My wife was handling business down there, I couldn't believe I could actually see what I had. But even better, my wife realizing that I could see her decided to put on a show, never breaking eye contact. I have been with my wife nearly 25 years, and I never realized what a little $lu+ she is! ; ) For that alone, my sleeve was worth it! Can't wait to see what is still to come!

Three and a half weeks for me and lasted about 2-1/2 weeks. I wasn't worried, because I knew it was a good possibility, with all the reading I was doing here. It doesn't mean it is not frustrating. Scale is moving again!

Tell me about the week after your surgery....
thegentleoso replied to breezy25's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I was sleeved on 2/16, and I had no complications after surgery. I was able to walk almost immediately after I got in my room, I am sure that the pretty nurse and nursing student helped a little. Lol I was a little sore, and I had a prescription for pain medication for home which I never took. I tolerated the clear protien, but couldn't wait to get onto regular liquids. And let me tell you, Sugar Free Jello was my best friend! -
Feb sleevers.... One month updates!
thegentleoso replied to bigguy928's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I was sleeved on 2/16, and I am down 36 pounds. Including my pre-surgery weight loss, I am down 66 pounds. I just bought a pair of pants that were 12 inches smaller than when I started my journey. They were a little snug, but I was able to where then out. The next size up fit ok, but I knew in a week or two, they will probably be big on me! -
