  1. I had my revision surgery done on Dec 1st and I'm doing very well so far. I had the sleeve done 3 yrs ago and despite losing quite a bit initially, I did not have long term success with it at all. I also had issues with acid reflux after the sleeve. In just 4 weeks I have noticed a significant difference with the bypass regarding my acid reflux...it's gone! So I still have ALOT of work to do, but know that the revision surgery is possible and can be done. Good luck to you!

I had the RNY on 12-01-15

at bugsy72...thank you for the reply! I guess I should feel fortunate that I can literally "stomach" what I am supposed to be eating just fine. Congrats on your weight loss. This should be a wonderful journey! Good luck!

I had the RNY on 12-01-15

Hi there. I also had RNY done on Dec 1st. I live in TX, but would love to have an online support system. Have just started on soft proteins...cottage cheese, mashed up black beans, fat free string cheese, and my protein shakes are all going down very well. I'm not having any issues with liquids at all. I find if I take my time, I can pretty much drink all my shakes and water. The weight game has always been such an emotional deal for me. I'm down 14 lbs since surgery date on the 1st. That's averaging about a pound a day. Start weight was 226. Wondering if I'm just being too hard on myself because I read so many others that lose twice as much within the first 2 weeks. Thoughts?
