When approved, hopefully in 2 weeks will start add. weights. I also got a hula hoop albs, but not approved for another 2 weeks and incisions still pretty sensitive. I pushing my fluids every day till 64 ounces or more, no vomiting, a little nausea, first 2 weeks very bad burping, but now much better, also pushed my Protein intake to at least 60 grams a day, now between 60-70 a day, taking antacids and gall bladder meds and daily bariatric Vitamins as suggested by pays and added Biotin 2500mcg to prevent hair loss. Newbie to forum and questions

I do not want to encourage anyone to gain weight, but if you are so close to BMI of 40, If it was me I would let myself go there, Most insurance companies will look at you starting BMI not the BMI you end up with after following their instructions regarding dietitian and exercise and you start loosing as you are following pre surgery directions for the months you have to follow per your insurance company. I knew I had to have 4 dietitian visits and other testing. They told me the surgeon was not available to meet with me till September, so i started with the dietitian visit in August and had my gastric sleeve surgery November 25. Started 8/4/15 250lbs, day of surgery 228.8 lbs and today 30 days post surgery 204.6s. I walk every day on my treadmill 30-45 min at about 2.2-2.3 miles per hour and tomorrow I will start swimming which is great exercise for toning whole body. I also got a hula hoop 2lbs, had one that is 4.4 but too heavy, can't start yet till 6 wks post op, incision still healing. Good luck!

    Loose stools

I used to have horrible IBS, couldnot help me and I love milk, went of milk, besides greek yogurt, no more IBS
  4. Regarding my diet, I started with the fluids mostly water and one 2 ounces of applejuice with water, but stopped that one week later and went to only water, I do not like taste of fake sugar, unjury chicken protein, after 2 weeks I would cook 2 chicken in crockpot take all parts without fat an skin and grounded it up in machine, added water and froze it in ice cub in freezer, For breakfast I would do mostly greek yogurt with a tiny tiny bit of low sugar jelly, for lunch and dinner chicken sometimes a little store bought applesauce no added sugar, it came in a big jar, so I also froze the rest in icecubs, works perfect! sugar popsicles about 2-4 day, now down to 1 a day, do not like the taste of sorbitol. Yesterday approved to go to soft diet, again cooked 2 whole chickens in crockpot and froze bags of 2 ounces, I work from a home office, but if I do not plan ahead regarding protein and foods it would not work for me

    Feeling Alone...

IT sounds to me that he is not concerned about his own health and not about yours either. To have a partner like that but to be so clearly nonsupportive, I do not think that shows a good future for your relationship. If he does not want to take any responsibility for his health, you are going to have to take care of him, risk of diabetes, stroke. Take care of yourself and find someone who really cares about you, so wants to be there for your future together.
