Thank you! Yes, if you have apnea it's a really good idea to confirm that, and get set up with a CPAP. Then when you're in recovery from the endoscopy (and the anaesthesia) you won't be having apneac episodes. Less strain on the body. You can then have it in recovery from your surgery. :-) Sent from my HTC One M9 using the BariatricPal App

I was sleeved on Jan 21, and have lost 30 pounds so far. I plateaued for a week and a half in late February, but discovered I had some hidden carbs I needed to eliminate from my diet. 50 pounds to go! :-) Sent from my HTC One M9 using the BariatricPal App

Any WA state sleevers with surgeries coming up?

YES! to taste buds changing. I also still have a lot of referral pain in my shoulder, but hoping walking will help. Yesterday was great, but today I had too much gas pain. Dr. Michelson suggested Gas-X strips, so I am giving those a try. :-) Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk -

I was sleeved on Wednesday by Dr. Michelson at NWWLS. I am sore, but I suspect tomorrow will feel better. -

Tomorrow at 9:45 am I check in for surgery. I look forward to getting tired of fluids. :-) -

My surgery is scheduled for the 20th (one week from today) at NWWLS in Everett. Consult with doctor and surgery nurse happens on Monday the 18th. :-) -
Hello, fellow Seattlites! I don't have a date yet, but am jumping through each pre-op "hoop" and thinking over my choices. VSG seems to be a good option, and the folks at Northwest Weight Loss Surgery have been very helpful. I saw the dietitian on Monday, and will have my psych intake just before Christmas. I already had my upper endoscopy, and had to postpone thoughts of surgery to deal with the three bleeding ulcers I did not know I had. No more oral Toradol for me! :-) I am enjoying reading everybody's stories, and getting a solid "heads up" on all the possible issues I can face. Many thanks!
