  2. How's everyone doing with hunger? Day by day I get more and more hungry and thirsty! I have absolutely no problems getting fluids or Protein down so at this point it's really mind over matter - I am having to make sure I go slowly and don't over consume but I feel like I could eat a lot! Still hungry here. Everything has gone down fine including cream Soup, yogurt, pudding, and Protein shakes. Today I got out of the house with my family and had a bit of nonfat, no sugar added frozen yogurt. It was good. It's not sweets I'm wanting though, ready for something savory. 3. Anyone had to cough or sneeze and not braced yourself in time and felt like you'd busted something inside? Also, anyone having alien movements in the sleeve area? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  5. I have a lot of stomach acid and gurgling, even with the medication and so it's hard to tell if I actually feel hungry or if it's just the acid. With that said, I do feel hunger! And, it also takes me at least an hour to get a shake down. I also know part of it is psychological - I saw a friend's FB lunch post which looked delicious and I started literally salivating thinking about a tomato salad... The kids had pizza for dinner. I got my face as close to it as I could without licking it. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  6. Day 3 post-op and I am HUNGRY. Am I the only one? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  7. I'm having a very hard time getting my shakes and water in. I don't want anything to eat or drink. I'm determined to do it because I know that's the only way I'm going to start feeling better. I haven't had any pain meds since leaving the hospital yesterday so that's good. At this point I don't know if I could gag the stuff down even if I needed it. Anything that tastes mediciney or chemically could send me into orbit. It's because of the swallow test. I can't get that taste out of my mind. I'm shuddering as I type just thinking about it. The though of it is almost unbearable. I prob sound like a big baby but that's the effect it had on me. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  8. They should be coming to get me for my swallow test soon. Once the results are read I am supposed to be going home. Dr has already been by around 7:30. I honestly feel pretty close to normal. Pain meds are working; only really hurts when I'm coughing or during standing up. The broth they gave me this morning tastes like mushrooms. I like mushrooms but the jury is still out on the broth. 12. Alright, I'm sorry to be a whiney butt but these protein shakes the dr prescribed are crap. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  13. My last "normal" day is coming to an end. Just saw Captain America Civil War with the fam and made a stop at Walmart to get my liquid diet staples. I'm so not going to be good at this liquid thing. I'm going to do it and I want to do it but I'm really going to be bad at it. All of you who've done it for a week already and have another to go deserve some kudos. Send me all your tips and tricks! Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  14. In this instance I'd say second place is definitely better! I am definitely not a morning person. My surgery is scheduled for 10am with an arrival time of 7am. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
