    NSV shout outs

I haven't had many NSV I'm only two months out so everything is slowly changing. Last week I had a few of my students make comments about how skinny I'm getting and how great I look- that is coming from HS students. I was also able to get into a pair of pants two sizes smaller today pants I haven't worn in at least 7 years-before I had my youngest!

    NSV shout outs

Today is one month since my surgery. I'm down 21 lbs on my scale! My NSV was yesterday and today. I have a few pairs a pants that were my size but just too tight compared to the others. I was able to wear one pair yesterday and just put on the other pair-they feel even better! These are really the first things I can really say I noticed!!!
  3. It's great to see everyone doing so well! I had my first post op visit yesterday. They dr was happy with my results. I'm down 17lbs since surgery (12/28). He said everything is going the way it should. I spoke with the dietician we went over the next few weeks. I'm excited but still nervous I've been working to keep my liquids and Protein up making it some days others coming close. I do find that it is getting easier. Good luck to those getting sleeved in the coming days!
  4. I was sleeved 12/28 not quite two weeks. I went back to work Monday 1 week later. I had pain maybe two days but more uncomfortable around the incisions (there are six small ones). I've been struggling to get my Protein and fluids in. I'm doing better with the liquids. The hardest part so far was the and sometimes still is the head hunger. Someone mentioned earlier they just wanted to chew something that's me. As if this morning I'm down 13 lbs, not much but a lot at the same time lol. I'll be starting puréed this weekend. I am looking forward to a soft scrambled egg. So I guess my biggest problem is I'm bored with my food options lol. I've already started making lists of new recipes I'll be trying with my family that are more health friendly. If anyone has any send them my way.
  5. Getting the water in is hard but I was told it gets easier after day 3 or 4. Good luck to everyone going tomorrow.
  6. Surgery was a success. I was a little nauseous yesterday on and off but not too bad. I was out of bed and walking around the hospital floor last night. I can home today still sleepy but no pain at all. A little uncomfortable but not pain. I've been trying my best to sip my liquids. So far it's only been sugar free jello and water. I didn't care for the chicken broth at the hospital. Tomorrow I can start in full liquids including protein shakes. How did everyone else do?

Good luck! I'm driving over now for my 8am arrival!
  8. Good luck today to all the sleeves. I'll be heading to the hospital in about an hour. I'll post updates when I can.
  9. I know there are a lot of us getting sleeved tomorrow. I'm making myself so anxious. Anyone have any advice to overcome this anxiety?
  10. I'm a few days away from getting sleeved (12/28) I'm a little nervous but very excited. I think Christmas is helping take my mind off what would normally give me anxiety. How is everyone (sleeved and waiting) feeling?
  11. Good luck everyone getting sleeved this week. I go in for my nutritional appointment and final consent/lab work Thursday. Surgery is set for 12/28 @ University of Penn. How is everyone newly sleeved feeling?
  12. Hi everyone! I'm new to the site I'm excited to meet those going through the same thing as I am. My surgery is scheduled for 12/28. While I'm excited I'm also nervous.
