HI! New to the B/CS area and looking for fellow bandsters to share experiences, give support and info. Although I have had my band for almost 3 years,having 2 babies has prevented me from getting it to work correctly so I feel like a new bandster. When I was getting fills after my Mexico surgery they didnt work and I never did hit the "sweet spot" before having to drain the band for my 1st pregancy. I am getting ready to deliver my 2nd baby anyday and it has renewed my committment to get this band working for me as soon as I have the baby!! Would love to get a group together for excercise too! Lets make our own Bandster Boot Camp!! hahahahaa. Hope there are some interested people out there.... Take care:thumbup:

hi there, just moved to BCS, was banded 2 1/2 years ago in Mexico but havent had the thing working correctly due to getting pregnant 6 months after being banded and now getting ready to deliver another baby anyday. I am wondering if you ever found a support group here? I am going to gat a fill as soon as I can after having my baby. The fills I received before never worked and I never truly had good restriction. I would really like to see this band pay off. I also think my port isnt attched correctly euther, it flips back and forth! Any info on BCS support groups for bandsters is appreciated! thanks

Please help. I have the Swedish Band, banded in Mexico 2 years ago. I n the meantime I was traveling to Miami alot for work and had a few fills from a doctor there but never really got the band working correctly. Then I got pregnant, hhad my baby 6 months ago. Noew, I am desperate to use the band to lose the baby weight and once agian try to get the band to work correctly. I cannot find any doctor in the FL Panhandle area or Alabama area to give me a fill because I was banded in Mexico and have the Swedish Band. Dr.Lord in pensacola wont do it because it is the Swedish band even thoght the band was just approved by the US. Please help!!!

I was banded about 2 years ago. I had a few fills in miami from a quack of a dr who overfilled me and I never truly had restriction. Then I had the port drained when I became pregnant and had my baby. Now I am no longer able to afford to go 10 hours away to Miami for a fill. Does anyone know of a FL Panhandle dr who will fill a Swedish band performed in Mexico?? Dr.Lord in Pensacola wont do it because it is the Swedish band, even though it was just US approved. I have baby weight to lose and an expensive instrument(the band) that I cannot find soemone to fill!!! I am desperate and feeling like this was a mistake. I would appreciate any help. Thanks
