@@JamieLogical I never knew these pastas existed. I think I'm going to have to give them a try when I really want some pasta. -
I noticed the smell thing with me too, but for me it's when people are eating chocolate candy bars around me. They smell disgusting. Not sure how it smelled appetizing to me before. Hopefully, you will find success with your Protein.

Dr. says 40 is too young...help

So I hit my goal weight this past week, which is exciting, but now I'm trying to transition to maintaining. I know everyone is different and I am going to call my nut, but in the past they haven't been helpful. So I'm asking at you vets. 1. How did your transition go? 2. How did you learn what amount of food would maintain your weight? Trial and error? The thought of eating more scares me for the fact I've always needed to eat less, so it's weird that I'm now not needing to. I'm sure others felt this way too. Any tips/advice is appreciated.

Trying not to be angry
lifeofblair replied to salmon77's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I think my mom had a mom that was concerned about weight. It caused my mom to not help me when I was younger and doctors told me to lose weight. She'd say that I was fine when I wasn't. I'm glad she did berate me about my weight but I also kind of wish she helped me get healthier as a kid. But that's in the past and she was supportive when I had the surgery so all is fine. -
@@cookarue I have seen those, but it says they don't sell them near me

My surgeon's office told me not to chew post op. I've never been a big gum person, so it hasn't bothered me. I'm not completely sure the reasoning, though.

Bypass vs. Sleeve
lifeofblair replied to caligirltt's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had a surgeon explain the difference between the two very effectively and I was set on having the sleeve, then I met with the surgeon (I moved) that actually did my surgery and he recommended the bypass due to some of my medical conditions. -
