So this guy I met on Bumble asked me to grab drinks next week (he said he was busy with work this week) and I said yes. Question is how do I go about this because i don't drink do to the surgery and just not really wanting to I didn't want to say "oh I don't drink, but..." Should I suggest a place or just go and not get an alcoholic drink? What have y'all done?

lifeofblair replied to ange117's topic in Protein, Vitamins, and Supplements
I've only tried it once. I haven't bought any yet. I probably won't buy them because they are 250mg -

We have a dog that was supposed to be a yorkie, but she's def mixed with something. She's a little butt head. Ours runs the house and probably would prefer to be an only dog but she gets along okay with our older dogs not so much our new puppy. But, I've met other yorkie that are fantastic. I wouldn't give ours up for anything though.

So I want to start doing weights at the gym, but have no idea where to start. Anyone know of some good beginner resources? I've been researching online but find 10 different answers. Any help would be great.

Food Please

Yep, my doctor cleared me for that. I can't remember when I progressed to soft foods. -
I knew this time of year would be hard, but man do I want some Girl Scout cookies!! It makes it so much harder when I work for a local council and there are trailers full right outside.
-
The bad thing for me is they are always around! I work for a council, so even in the summer/fall they are in the office. There is no relief. But I am finding I'm not craving them as much. Veterans....#1 thing you miss / don't miss
lifeofblair replied to Kindle's topic in WLS Veteran's Forum
I finally thought of something I miss... A big ole Coke from McDonald's I always thought they had the best. I also miss being able to go through the drive through for breakfast, but I also always felt gross after. I like having extra money as I don't eat out as much if at all. -

I ate sugar today for the first time--and I didn't dump. Not happy!
lifeofblair replied to bugsy72's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I feel like a lot of surgeons make it sound like everyone is going to dump. I haven't dumped and my mom doesn't dump either. I haven't really wanted to test it though because im afraid I won't dump -

lifeofblair replied to Alex Brecher's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
2 times. Once after the seminar and then once to set the date for surgery. -

Changing your mind with two weeks left.
lifeofblair replied to choicemun's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I backed out years ago and wish I didn't. But, at the same time part of me is glad I did because i don't think I was ready to make all the changes needed.
