I thought some might want to see what it looks like after you get surgery.. Please dont mind my boobs i made sure no nipples were in the picture. Also it was hard for me to get all wound marks in the picture since i took it myself. I took this today i had surgery may the 4th. So this is 5 days after surgery. I have 6 wounds. Hello everyone. I had my sleeve surgery on may 4th. I came home 24 hours after surgery. Been having trouble getting my meds down without getting nauseas. Be Sides that the pain pills have been really helping. I can already see an improvement from yesterday. One other thing is i cant tell when im full. I get this bloated feeling like something is stuck in my chest. Could that be my bodys new way of saying im full? Height 5 foot. Biggest weight 220lbs Sent from my LGLS991 using the BariatricPal App

For me it never hurt to swallow it was just hard to swallow enough Water with pills because i would fill full and uncomfortable right away. But im 5 days out and its okay to swallow small pills. I cut my big in half and take them about 10 mins apart. Sent from my LGLS991 using the BariatricPal App

Just feeling full. Its a new type of full feeling like pressure in your chest. (for me atleast) i didnt want to push it and get sick at first but each day im able to get more in.

I think its gonna depend on the hospital and doc because i heard so many people waking up in no pain.. But i was different i woke up in soooooo much pain i counldnt move. The nurse had to shot me up with morphine every few mins for. Good 30mins to an hour till pain subsided.. Im 5 days post op paid has went down but i still take one pain med in the morning to get ms threw the day and one at night to sleep Sent from my LGLS991 using the BariatricPal App

Good luck with surgery today! I had mine may 4th. Everyday will get better! First few days was hard for me to even get fluids down id just try and make sure to sip Water and ice chips when you can. They put so much in your IV at the hospital you wont get dehydrated for a few days at home anyway. Just make sure to work on Protein when you get to your stage two diet. Im 5 days post op today! Seems things are going alittle better for you than they are for me. Are you still on pain meds? I am i only take it when i get up and for bed to get sleep. And finding im sleeping almost threw the whole night now which im thankful for!
