  1. Deb, Congratulations! Just find what works for you and make sure you get enough protein. I like fat free cottage cheese and yogurt. String cheese is my favorite snack. Make sure you take it slow early in the day till you get loosened up. You will do great! Good luck! Tammy

    Tonya, While there are some drawbacks to getting banded, (I consider them minute) it is definitely worth it. Whatever discomfort I experienced was minor and the benefits are tremendous. I am 16 months post-banding and I have lost 104 pounds. I feel great and I have more energy. I would recommend this to anyone who is obese. You will be glad you did this.     I am back, banded a year ago

    I am new to this site! It is great to hear how others are doing. I am almost a year out, I have lost 100 pounds and I am shooting for fifty more to goal. Tammy
