I had seen this advertised in a magazine also and wondered about it. I checked drugstore.com and it is 11.99 plus s/h. I will have to check at a local drugstore to see how much it is to buy it local and save any s/h.

I had a job where I was expected to multi task. For some reason now I cant do it at all or it just blows my mind. I get extremely flustered and stressed out if it is mental multi tasking.

I take some deli turkey and wrap it around a piece of string cheese. Fast and easy!

Is there something around the house that you have been promising to do or fix and havent? This was a cheap idea I did for my husband for Christmas. Husband had a favorite jacket that had holes all over it, so comfy he didnt want to pitch it. I had kept promising to patch it and hadnt. I patched and sewed it all up, washed it and wrapped it in a box for Christmas, he laughed when he opened it up.

I tell my husband it feels like they come from my knees. And they are l...o...n...g !

Mine got really inflamed and smelly (I know TMI) about 6wks ago. I cleaned and rinsed it really good in the shower then took a q-tip with Neosporin on it and dabbed it in there with that. It was gone in a couple days.

If someone sews, have them make a quilt then raffle that.

I think it mostly determined by your Dr, if there would be complications of course you would be kept overnight. I think the norm is outpatient. Be sure to check and see if your insurance requires an overnight for them to pay. I know one that does.

I have been at a standstill with the month of December. I have gotten WAY off track. I got my 4th fill Friday. Tomorrow I am doing my food diary again and last week I started my swim class again. I have a long way to go and dont want to stop now. Lets get this ball rolling DOWNhill again.

The last month I am seeing it, or not seeing it rather. I am a brunette and I see my scalp easy too. The scalp was less noticeable when I had blonde highlites, so I am going back to that.

New thread here, cool. Got a question for you girls. I just had my 4th fill this afternoon. I have 7cc in a large (?) 10cc band. How do I know when I am full? What does it feel like and where? Whats the signal I am looking for? I think to this point it has been willpower. I gained 2 1/2lbs since last fill. December was crazy around here. We had company for the whole month...a DIL,3yr old and 1yr old. Not used to that for just me and hubby. So I am blaming that 2 1/2lbs on that along with the holiday! BUT PLEASE what signals me to stop??????? Glad I found this thread.

Congrats on the surgery !!! I had the claustrophobia also, they must have added something to my IV too. It must not have just been me then, good to hear.

SueSue..it must just be a KFC policy (HAHAHAHAHAHAHA) I have went with my husband (he is 58) twice locally and she rings up 2 seniors!! My husband laughs, like someone else said , I would rather pay extra than be assumed I am a senior!! But I do enjoy using hubbys senior card for 5% off on Wednesdays at the grocery store.

Georgiagirl, I have been discouraged for about 3 weeks. I have stopped losing, in fact I have gained 2lbs in Dec. The holidays,and having a daughter in law,3yr old and 1yr old in the house has completely changed my life style. The company is gone now, so I am trying to get back on track. My husband keeps asking me if I can feel when I am full. I think I can in the stomach, but my head isnt telling me full. I think I need to get all my lapband pamphlets out and re-read things. It is consoling to see I am not the only one struggling right now. Also, for some reason I am not getting any emails from the threads I am subscribed to. I have a ?? in to alex,hopefully he can help me out on that front.

I just read my daughter in laws myspace page. The other daughter in law states that my son is due back tomorrow from Iraq on his mid tour. THANKS FOR LETTING ME KNOW. We shortened our vacation and spent $250 to go get this DIL because she had a meltdown and our grandkids were in emergency childcare. She must be afraid we are going to intrude on her time. Well, pi$$ on you uppity biatch!

I have thought about the Christmas present thing before. My birthday is one of the first of the year. One year no one did ANYTHING. No card, no acknowledgment it was even my birthday. I must have had PMS I exploded on 2 sons and a husband. I said thats fine, if thats how we are doing birthdays this year, I can do this. You can expect the same on yours unless things change in the next 24hrs. I came home from work the next night and 1 son had me a card and perfume. He got a birthday present that year, no one else did. And by the way 48hrs now and we still have heard nothing from soldier son and DIL.

Anyone used BC/BS that works for General Motors? What Dr did you use, what city, state? Do you know what diagnosis code was used? thanks

I dont think they would surprise me, they would tell my husband what was going on and he would leak it. Not so mad today, but I feel sometimes like we are good enough if they need something and thats it. We give and give, and get little if nothing in return. They are too hung up on themselves.

This is the worst time for me too. I try to eat fruit or something with protein so it isnt junk I am eating. Right after my surgery when I was still on liquids I just went to bed!

I dont like a big breakfast and I want something fast. I have a smoothie most mornings. I'm not familiar with the place you are referring to. What I do is take a cup of yogurt,scoop of protein powder,cup of ice,1/4 c of milk throw it all in the blender and thats breakfast. And I can drink it on the go. I vary all this with different flavors of yogurt and different flavors of protein mix.
