I'm 21 and was sleeved on 12/14/2015.. Highest Weight 296 Day of surgery 285 Current weight 257 I remember regretting my decision for the first week but it all got better and I am so glad I did this! I think we really do have age on our side as far as recovery and things go.. GOOD LUCK

What was everyone eating at and after the 6 week mark? How did the food work for you? Also what we're some of your drink choices? Any information helps. Thanks everyone!

Hey Everyone, I feel like I am at a stall. I am at the end of my 3rd week post op and I haven't lost anything this week. I am in the "pureed Stage" of my diet but have no idea what kinds if food I should be eating. Does anyone have any suggestions on this topic? Has anyone had a stall this early? What kind of foods did you eat during the "pureed stage"? Also can you have smoothies during this time with added Protein powder? Please anything helps. Like I said I'm only 3 weeks out and very new to this. Thank you so much!

Did anyone have problems with the Vitamins you order and get delivered to your door and only pay your copay? Today was my first day with them and the iorn is making me burp a lot. . Wondering if I should try buying in the store instead of getting shipped. Suggestions? THANK YOU!

Hey everyone! I was sleeved on December 14th and I go in this Monday to see if I can move to pureed foods. I want food soooo bad that I can't wait for this stage.. I have even toyed with the idea of trying something pureed today. What kind of foods or cassaroles did and of you Puree during this stage? What was hard about this stage? Did any one start Pureed foods before the 2 weeks? Thank you!!

Wow thank you so much for the reply that helps me out so much! I tested low fat cheese and I've tried mashed potatoes and both have worked out great.

Hello Everyone, I was just wondering if you had a favorite food or a food you could eat before the surgery but can't eat now? I know we're all different, but I just wanted to see if there were things you really couldn't eat after surgery. Thanks, Jessica!

When did everyone start taking the vitamins? I didn't like the Bariatric Vitamins either so I bought all my vitamins separately

So you haven't had to take all the vitamins?

I love chips and salsa... not good for you at all. Ugh lol

My name is Jessica and I am 21 years old and live in Florida♡ Dr. Ramirez is my surgeon and I will be having my surgery on December 14th and I am getting very nervous. Tomorrow I start my 2 week liquid diet with one meal a day. What is surgery like? What can I expect?
