Band too tight! How to manage
wincha replied to rock_bottom_enthusiast's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Call them back and say you are miserable and afraid your band will slip because you are throwing up. Tell them you can come in and can wait till the dr can see you. If that doesn't work the. Ask to speak to his nurse or the dr about this. If you have injuries because you called and they refused to get you in...they could be legally responsible. -
I've read that some people get shoulder pain when they eat too much. But I've started HS ing left shoulder pain twice when I was hungry. Not sure why I'm getting this shoulder pain
-
It wasnt related to eating too much as it happened before I needed to eat. I think it had to do with the position I was in. But happened when sitting and lying on my side. Hasn't happened again. Lily http://lapbandontherun.blogspot.com/

You need to see your primary care doctor to make sure it's not diet relate. How's your blood pressure. Are you having any problems with shortness of breath?

Add beans to your diet. They are higher in protein. I eat cream of wheat for breakfast

Baby I'm back, back, back on the CPAP
wincha replied to Bandista's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I know I've had sleep apnea since college and I was thin. So I'm not expecting anything earth shattering changes with my Cpap. I just wish someone asked me about my sleep since I've had issues since the 80's. When I was having a procedure I had to be incubated since I stopped breathing and was told to be tested for sleep apnea -

wincha replied to ididit34's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm not able to complete on some days. I keep an eye on my protein -
Why bother having weight loss surgery with fried foods. That's setting you in to fail
-
Home around 4. Used daily fit pal to log food. On full liquids. Got my protein in. I kinda feel full and hungry. My stomach feels firm. Passed gas no issues. Coughed a little so even though I felt hungry I'm assuming my stomach says I'm full. So I stopped eating. Took 2 pain pills. Feels like I did a million sit ups.

I've got a pillow for coughing. It's getting better

Hunger Pains One Week After Surgery
wincha replied to Jenni Noona's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was hungrier the day I came home tom the hospital. One day post op. The next day less hungry as today. I have to drink my protein shake for lunch or I won't get it in yesterday I didn't get my protein shake in. Still on full liquids. Cream of wheat, cream soups, instant mashed potatoes before before bed. Drinking skim milk with each meal. -
How am I supposed to stretch out my Meals to 20 minutes when I'm on full liquids? Don't have to worry about constipation anymore. Drank my protein shake with PB powder for lunch cause I couldn't get it in yesterday so today I as low on protein. I'm making sure I'm eating higher full liquid proteins earlier in the day. Basically cream f wheat, drinking skim milk, my shake with PB protein with skim milk..just the shake protein is around 25 grams. Taking a long nap everyday. Walking around the house 3 times a day. Looking forward to soft foods I can chew. Stomach still feels sore and distended but getting better.
