November 2015 Sleevers?
kris421 replied to goddess977's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Sleeved on 11/23! Weight day of surgery 363. Weight today 315. Mostly normal foods by now. Struggling with getting enough Water (bc I let myself have coffee again). I feel like I'm not losing anymore. Anyone in or want to start a November sleepers fb group? Edit: I read further and saw the group. I am much more active on fb than I am on here. Anyone mind if I join? -

Thank you! I really appreciate all the kind words. (: and real life advice! It's hard to remember I'm basically starting over and I need to treat my new stomach like a baby. But I am learning for sure. (:

Guys thank you so much! That is all super helpful info. Just to see it from people that have lived it is awesome. This is really a great place to come to for support.

I'm also having some pretty bad head hunger. I used to hate pizza and now it's all I'm craving. Pizza and grilled cheese. But reading about you guys making it through those situations is inspiring to me. Good job staying focused guys. If you can do it, I can do it!

Hey guys! I'm new to this site and I am honestly so glad I found it! I am one week post op today and I'm having a hard time mentally. I feel great physically, but I'm afraid to eat. And I keep thinking about the future and how I will always be taking a risk for dumping with every new food. Basically no amount of mental preparation could get me ready to face my food addiction like this. How did you guys get through it? To people that are further out, any trouble with non puréed foods? I'm terrified of throwing up. :/

Thank you! I just want to see that people are drinking it again haha. I've definitely been following what my surgeon and nutritionist say. I don't have an appointment until Friday though. But thanks for the hope that someday they'll okay it! (:

I'm glad to see this. I miss coffee so much. I'm currently one week out. My surgeon never said anything about coffee because I stopped drinking it a month before surgery. Do you guys ever have decaf this early?
