i fell into that category of "complaining" as u call it. but in reality I was being doubtful that I wasnt doing something correct or wondering what the normal is. Im not an expert at this type of surgery and everyone is different. I more so am trying to figure out "MY" normal. so I have come on various threads here "complaining" that my weight loss is slow in the beginning and some seasoned "losers" have given me pretty good advice. Im a little over 3 months post op vsg and 75# down and Im not freaking out anymore when I have a stall for 2-3 weeks. I dont use my scale as Gospel anymore but a guide. I look at all the NSVs and feel good about myself. This is a learning process both mentally and physically. -

what does a gallbladder attack feel like?
lindabalseca replied to angyplus5's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
mine felt like the flu every time i ate. bodyaches nausea pain under my rib cage going to the back and radiating up. for months i went to the er and they kept saying viral infection, flu, stress. changed hospitals and the dr actually listened instead of reciting me out of a textbook. sent me for an ultrasound and turned out his hunch was right i had 100-200 stones. i waitressed at that time so basically a greasy diet....thankfully he listened to me. -

My surgery was 8/9/17. I'm down 73# ...been exercising since surgery....not everyday and nothing drastic..walking, riding the stationary bike or just doing a little extra effort with everyday chores. Eating has been a little difficult but I'm starting to figure things out little by little.
