I cringe every time I see a response from you...if God gives her comfort then so be it. You may not believe in God but don't take away from those that do. I really pray that God humbles you to be nicer and compassionate to others.

VENTING - can vs should
lindabalseca replied to BigTexasMandy's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My first time ever on BariatricPal he bullied me and I thought I hope not everyone is as insensitive. There are a few just like him. I dread when I see their post on threads thinking omg who are they going to chew up and spit out now? Now I just think wow they must be so sad inside and their life with not much meaning in their eyes of course that they want company. People to feel emotionally scarred as them. All I can say is they need prayers to soften their hearts and humble themselves. -

I totally agree with you however if u read certain posts by a select few they come off as high and mighty and they go right for the jugular. I would find a better way to tell the lady eating the whole pizza that she needs to let her dr know what she's really eating and to get into counseling asap...not be the food patrol...I'm the type of person who will find a strategy to get the message across in the best possible way. Some may see it as coddling... I see it as not trying to set someone back to the place they just came out of. We need to let them know they are putting their health at risk without making them feel worthless or beneath others. -
VENTING - can vs should

Probably because they are miserable in theirs and making someone else feel bad is a temporary victory for them. Would they talk to their mother like that or a close friend...gosh I hope not but the more this goes on I think they would.... -

lindabalseca replied to tx_scorpio's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I take lisinipril and hydrochlorothiazide it's good and protects ur kidneys....too long with high blood pressure can hurt the kidneys and then its dialysis....stay away from too much sodium drink lots of water and more water. Practice some stress relieving techniques like meditation. Just my 2 cents [emoji179] -

Craigslist is dangerous...I won't join if it goes through there -
I think I'm becoming too obsessed with this whole journey. Too much so that I'm giving myself anxiety attacks. I want everything to go well and be prepared I'm working so hard even before the prop diet to change my eating habits, get my blood sugar levels down, and wrap my mind around this. I'm excited that things are falling into place but I'm waiting for something to fail. I guess that's why I'm too obsessed

Slippage of sleeve
lindabalseca replied to glitter eyes's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I've had herd/reflux for about 20yrs. Had the lapband (awful)removed (better) now I'm pre op for vsg. My surgeon doesn't see a problem with doing the sleeve with my reflux. Just my 2 cents -

So many questions no answers :( please help!
lindabalseca replied to JessgettingSleeved's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I hate the WW commercials...eating big giant tacos, chips, cake, Oprah promoting how much she loves bread....that u can eat anything you want blah blah blah...how about promoting balance and exercise and a good nights sleep and food in moderation. I had a boss that did that program..it's on a point system and he figured out if he saved enough points he could have more than one lite beer....I mean all it teaches you is how to get around the system to get what u want...the sleeve is a serious life change and if your not gonna be serious than WW is perfect [emoji108] -

both men and women are shallow on those online sites. even if they werent picky they are desperate for one thing only. nothing more will evolve out of those and if they do its very rare. its more of a catfish situation. a lot of them are married and stray cuz they are bored or lonely.

Most of those dating sites are just for hook ups....stay away from those

Is it Possible that a person isnt meant to be skinny?
lindabalseca replied to Chaelove0810's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I totally agree with you on the abrasiveness...unfortunately the experience that people acquire makes them feel like they know everything and they can't wait to criticize and shove their knowledge down the throats of others...I wish they would realize that other people like to share their own knowledge and experiences but it becomes face biting....you look amazing don't sweat it u get to ur goal weight and be happy!!![emoji847] -
We lift up ur father in prayer for healing both physical and emotional...and for endurance...keeping u also in prayer so u will know ur never alone...we have u in community and God has u spiritually....hang on to ur hope for that is what keeps faith alive....with much love....in His Name...Amen
