I fit on rides at the fair!

I tried the lemon one and hated it. The texture was so weird to me.

I planned on 2 weeks but ended up taking 12 weeks due to complications.

Everyone, Thank you for the replies. It turns out that I did/do have a stricture. I had an endoscopy with dilation last Monday and will need another dilation next week. I'd like to say that the first dilation made a significant difference, but I haven't noticed much change. The nausea is constant and almost debilitating in spite of meds and I'm still struggling with liquids. Hopefully the next dilation helps more.

Hello. I am a month out (yesterday) from gastric bypass. I have had a very difficult time getting fluids and food down since surgery. I have gone twice for fluids due to becoming dehydrated. My Dr. has me on nausea medication that helps some. I'm struggling the last few weeks with throwing up even if I'm not nauseated. I've thrown up Fairlife milk, chicken broth, Greek yogurt, applesauce, even Popsicles from time to time. Anytime I put food or liquids in my stomach, I feel heavy and bloated. Has anyone dealt with this? Did it get better quickly? I'm barely eating more than 3-5 Wheat Thins a day and drinking Gatorade. I'm miserable and am not sure what to do.

I'm 3 weeks out and struggling with this. I needed to hear that I'm not alone.

My seminar was December 2nd. I scheduled an appointment with the Dr at the Bariatric Center the next day. My first appointment was January 13th. I had to have blood work done, an EKG, a sleep study, and I had to lose weight. I also had 3 appointments with a Nutritionist and 3 appointments with a therapist. My first appointment with the surgeon was May 6 and my surgery was approved by insurance on May 24th. I got my date that day and my date is 6/15.

Today is day 4 for my two week pre-op diet. RNY is 6/15. Today, I've been very emotional. I can't pinpoint exactly what's going on. Was anyone else emotional during their pre-op diet?

And I woke up with a headache what day are you on . I wish this diet was week . Even my doctor said the week before is most important and that's when you have to be extra strict I know... I don't understand why it has to be two weeks when others only have a few days. I'm following the plan because I know my surgeon knows what he's doing, but geeze!
