I had my surgery Nov 18th, all had been well. I got a stomach virus 4 weeks ago and it had me barfing. I can't eat many if the things I could before. No gravy, butter, noodles, just started keeping dwn milk. I cooked checked thigh in my slow cooker with tomato sauce, made wheat Pasta on the side, got nauseous so I stopped eating it. Seems like I can't even have salad. In short it seems like the food has to have some density on bread or meat or vegetables steamed with no oil. The only pasta I was able to keep down close when I'm next to mine meat sauce in with the spaghetti noodles and didn't cook them too long. Do you think something may have gone wrong when I kept barfing up about 7 weeks after the Surgery?

Protein strategy - what is yours?
Teaclinton replied to Emilie.Lancaster's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm to a point I sprinkle protein on my food, put in oatmeal, I even put a scoop on my plate and dipped my food in it, chewed and swallowed. Bcuz I you am gttn nauseous at the thought of a shame going down -
I hate that I have to eat tiny Li'l bites in order to eat a decent amount. Otherwise, I eat a tiny fraction and spend an hour digesting. And that's with chewing food thoroughly.

Down 26 Pounds in Six Weeks but Disappointed
Teaclinton replied to JupiterinVirgo's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It's funny bcuz of all the post I read, those who lose fast wish they were like those who lose slow so they wouldn't have the saggy skin. Those who lose slow wish they were like those who lose fast, BUT, they don't want the saggy skin. I am in a stall, lost 20 lbs 1st 14 days & nothing since & starting wk 5 today. If it means not having Saggy Skin, I'll wait. It's still better than what I was losing before, Nothing. -

Depressed don't know what to eat
Teaclinton replied to scarlep's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I sorta feel your pain. I felt the same way but I gotta tell you, I ate a li'l bit of rice, after a half fork full I was so grossed out. The feeling it left in my stomach…I don't know why but, that's what it did. It may be different for you, but for me, for some odd reason, the smells of foods and nauseousness has all come back. I'm to a point I don't mind it except that I stop eating and can't get full because of it. Still biding my time like the rest (4weeks out). -
So working out took care of the flab?

What does SW & CW mean?

Has anyone began making recipes for when they graduate to full meals? I have planned, a shake. A walk, then come back and clean out my fridge. Followed by making a list of recipes and shopping list. When time, I plan to cook for 2 to 3 days and wrap it up. Choose each meal according to my tastes. But wondering, does anyone have a game plan? Or Planned Recipes?

Also, doesn't that allow time for us to build muscle, by burning fat? I read the reason some people have a lot of flab is bcuz they lose the weight too fast to build muscle. I'm Curious.
