    Embrace the Stall

Saved it to my phone. I'll be 8 weeks postop tomorrow and I anticipate a stall soon based on others' reports of when they stalled.
  4. As of this morning I am UNDER 300#!!!
  5. @Stayc_b_me! My surgeon stressed that I should only take in Protein at that stage. No veggies, no carbs (applesauce and potatoes naturally have carbs even without sugar added), no fruit, etc. cheese is not a puree. I was told to wait until I was advanced to soft to eat cheese. I would highly recommend plain Greek yogurt with stevia drops, low fat ricotta cheese with stevia and an extract of your choice (lemon, vanilla, almond), blended cottage cheese with a hint of pepper. At 13 days I was forcing myself to eat. I actually cried when the clock said it had been almost 5 hours since my last meal and I had to go eat again. I agree with @@Djmohr that you should call your surgeon's office right away tomorrow morning to discuss your intake and their guidelines. I was very well educated on the guidelines and expectations prior to my surgery. Hoping you have great success through this journey. Counseling may be beneficial to help you sort out head hunger versus what you need to be giving your body. I was not allowed sugar free Popsicles until after surgery. They do count toward your Fluid intake. Same as sugar free Jello. Are you stopping drinking 30 minus before each meal and waiting 30 minutes after your meals to drink again?

    Embrace the Stall

@@Lizpeni I'd suggest increasing your daily protein, increasing your daily water intake, DECREASING carbohydrates and switching up your exercise routine. You can do it girl! When was your surgery?

    This liquid diet sucks!

Protein2o is something I wish I had known about during my preop liquid phase! My favorite flavor is Lemon Splash. I would suggest buying 1 of each flavor and trying each before buying a bunch of any flavor.
  9. Not sure if this counts as a NSV but I'm super excited to be down 21.7 inches over the last 6 weeks!

Quick Eats for the Holiday Season

Family is super helpful in making sure there is food available that fits my diet. I'm struggling with the desire to munch on some tortilla chips right now. I won't eat any as it isn't a mech soft food. Just one of those habits on the holidays I'm not used to resisting.

    Dizzy- 5 weeks out

Could it be low blood sugar if it is when you are first getting up from bed for the day and moving around?
