    Paperwork submitted and am waiting for the insurance approval. I am penciled in for December 23 for my gastric bypass in Pittsburgh. Less than 30 days and counting!!!

    Please contact your surgeon's office as it is my understanding that the qualifications are determined at your first appointment. If it is charted at 47.5 then that is what the insurance will go by. Good luck!
