That's a wonderful idea!

I had my surgery Monday morning on April 25th. I was really sleepy and groggy at first but then Hours later, that evening I was up walking the hallway. I was released from the hospital the next day. There is some pain, but nothing i didn't expect, the pain is manageable with pain meds. My biggest problem so far is remembering to get my fluids in. The protein drinks I liked before surgery, I just barely tolerate now, so my taste has changed. Even water doesn't taste the same.

. I've been waiting for someone like you to post about Syntrax. I ask about it a couple of times in the correct forum/conversation, but I think the posts kind of went a different way, so I didn't re-ask . (Didn't want to seem rude) I've got the Fuzzy Navel and Lemonade. I thought it would help me get both Water and protein in at same time. I was also gifted a tub of Peanut Butter cookie and the Truffle. In happy to hear you like them too!! . I use the Latte everyday, and I put coffee in mine also. I'm a coffee gal, so even though we have to go decaf, I try to make it seem and taste as REAL as possible...Ha Ha Ha!!! So glad you posted. If you have any ideas on blending or adding to your Nectars, is love if you shared !! Thanks again. I want to try lemonade and grape next. I order them from amazon.com. They have a wide variety of flavors available. You just have to remember one packet of Syntrax is 4 servings per package. Only 6 grams of protein per serving, to get my required amount of protein per serving I add an unflavored Protein powder to the mix. -

I have tried several different syntrax nectar protein shakes. I've tried syntrax Nectar's chocolate truffle, fuzzy naval, and the cappuccino. I love the chocolate truffle shake the best. I mix it with unsweetened almond milk. It's so good. It taste like the real thing. I used unsweetened apple juice with the fuzzy naval. It was okay, but I'm not too keen on the taste. The cappuccino was good with unsweetened almond milk. I like your idea of mixing it with real coffee. I'll have to try it. Thanks. -

I Live in Durham, NC by Southpoint mall. I'm doing everything through Duke. I haven't had surgery yet. My surgery date scheduled for Feb. 18th. @ Duke Regional hospital. I'm waiting on insurance approval. I'm a little worried, nervous and excited. My emotions are all over the place, but mentally I'm ready. Any weight loss surgeries via Duke? Who was or is the doctor?

I haven't told anyone at my job I was having weightloss surgery except my boss. I don't plan on telling the rest of them, but I think eventually they will figure it out, especially if I start losing a lot of weight in a short period of time. Other than that, I told my immediate family. I know what you mean about some things not being another's business. -

Hi. I'm new to this forum. I live in Durham, moved here from Virginia six years ago. Everyone told me I was crazy to move to Durham. They made the city sound so bad, I was reconsidering. I'm glad I took a chance on Durham. I love its diversity, and there's lots to do. You'll never be bored. I have found this city is no better or worse then any other city. Every town has those areas to avoid. Just trust your instincts and use good common sense. Anyone know Dr. Chan Park?
