    Any More Sixties?

My name is Judy, and I am 61. I had my the Gastric Sleeve surgery on November 5, 2015 and am almost four month post op. I have gone from 207 to 186 and have been holding at that weight for some time now. My biggest problem is hunger at night. I want sweets! That part of me is a bad habit from a child and has not changed. As soon as I sit in front of a television, Snacks pop into my head. Even though I have had the surgery, I have to keep in mind to exercise and watch my carbs. I did the best thing every and joined an aqua fitness class, twice a week and it is fantastic! I don't thing you are ever too old to care about your health, as long as it is monitored by a doctor.

    Just got my approval!

Good Luck Jim, I know exactly how you feel. I was so happy, but my nerves kept getting in the way. I am only two weeks post op and I have lost 15 pounds alreeady!. Look at the light at the end of the tunnel and you will be happy you made the right choice. Good luck to you!!!! You will be fine!!! Judy Boris
  3. My name is Judy Boris, and I live in Chicago. Two weeks ago, (November 5, 2015) I had gastric sleeve sugery. The first few days were rough, but after three days, the clear liquid diet was satisfying. However, now that I am going into my third week, food is starting to look good and the liquid diet is not satisfying. I have to be honest, the whey, Protein drinks and the Jello are beginning to nauseate me. I literally want food and am concerned that I am overthinking food. I started out at 207pounds and am down to 195 and holding. Does anyone have any suggestions to help me forget about my hunger (by the way, it really hits me at night)?
