I'm Christine, and I had a vertical sleeve gastrectomy on November 9th, 2015. I am in my mid 30's, and I am a wife and mother to two daughters. I chose to have the surgery done after a lifelong battle with obesity. I have been on many different types of diets throughout my life with minimum results. The decision to have the Gastric Sleeve was definitely not easy to come to. The desire to be healthy for my family as well as myself was the primary reason to go through with this. I decided to join this site for support, and maybe even friendship, with others who are on the same journey that I am on.
