I'M NOT EVEN HUNGRY BUT EVERYTHING LOOKS SO GOOD!?!
Glogyal replied to Glogyal's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Lol, I think that's my reason as well. I'm so use to eating solids that I feel deprived of foods that I'm use to. -
I am 20, 4 days post-op and very concerned.

I totally feel your pain. However, I've noticed that when I do feel gas I simply get up and walk for about 5-10 minutes, breathe deeply In and out, and that helps so much. I can't wait to see the results as well. It's definitely a waiting game. I wish you the best on this journey though! You hang in there too. -

Thanks so much for this moral support! I'm acting like a huge baby when it comes to this lol but I'm aware of the amazing benefits behind it all. I really appreciate the feedback. -
Getting ready for sleeve

Congratulations! I'm so happy for you. One thing that is important is to make sure you're mentally prepared. Watch a lot of YouTube videos of people that have experienced this journey. Try to join Facebook groups to have moral support and etc... Did the doctor say that you would have to start a pre-op diet? -
Any November surgeries?
Glogyal replied to Mildred Cox's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Had my surgery on the 11th. I hope everything goes well with you guys! Wishing the best of luck! ???? -
*Also it does very well depend on your surgeon! Some people have had to go on the pre-op diet for a month, 2 weeks, or even 2 days.

Congratulations! So happy for you. After I got approved it took me about a month to see my doctor. I consulted with him which then he put me on a two week diet. This involved me eating 2 meals (Protein and veggies) and two Protein shakes. After that two week period I had my surgery the very next day. Wish you the best of luck!

Tiereeeeeed. Zzzzzzzzz
Glogyal replied to JudeaJordon's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm 4 days post-op and I literally can not stomach protein. I feel nauseous at the site of it. I can do green tea or water but I'm having such a hard time getting my proteins in, which is probably why I feel slight dizzy waking up. I just have no idea what to do or how else to get the protein I need. -
December 2015 or January 2016 sleevers ?
Glogyal replied to neequa25's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It's definitely a journey. I'm feeling fatigued due to me not getting as much of protein but oppose to that I'm never hungry. I still crave for foods but I forever feel full. It's just the fact that I'm so use to eating food, it's hard to adjust to this new lifestyle! Are you nervous about your procedure? -

???? I envy you so much. I'm so ready to get to that stage where I can eat normally and go out with friends while eating without it being awkward. -
