They found and corrected the same thing when I had my surgery.......recovery from the hernia was miserable...I ended up in the hospital an extra day, a week post op they gave me 2 more bags of fluids.....warm drinks went down easier....but honestly I think the thing that finally got me drinking was room temp Gatorade 2 (G2) It has about 45 calories per bottle.....and I was able to get down one a day for a while. I was also put on spasm meds for a few weeks to help with the pain. It sucks to go through though! Thinking and praying for you.

thank you for sharing youre experience with me steph! I appreciate it, its so hard I cant even drink my coffee right now without it coming back up. they said I dont have to repair the hernia because its only 2 cm. so thats good, just dont know where to go from here
