  1. Everyone seems to be obsessed with the scale... I am trying to not base my journey on that number... There are so many NSV's that's occur that I'd miss if I focused solely on the scale. 11 1/2 weeks and down to 178.3. I have 0 complaints... I am very glad I made the decision to have this surgery... Even more glad that I am learning to use it is the tool it was meant to be. I read a lot, say a little. Lots of people compare their journey to that of someone else... Stress stalls weight loss, take the stress off yourself and just take it one day at a time. This surgery was NOT a magic solution. Fact is you can gain the weight back if you don't work the tool effectively......

I'm glad that I've learned this lesson early on. I have a clear road ahead of me. Thank you all for sharing your stories. You're a big encouragement to lil ol me.

If you don't mind me asking what was your starting weight?

  2. It depends on so much. I started at 222 pounds. I began exercising, put a full gym in my home, as soon as I got the green light from my doctor. I toned as I lost. Luckily I had no loose skin. I'm not sure if that was the key or just simply helpful.

Did you lift weights more so than cardio in order to achieve your results?

  3. Hey everyone! I'm new for the most part. I'm scheduled for surgery on December 10th and I was hoping to find someone to was getting sleeved right around the same time that would want to talk. For motivation, worries, support, someone who is literally in this process at the same point in time as me. :-)

I am schedule for December 7th so we can support each other through this journey!
