You look great!! My surgery is tomorrow, what's your key to success?
-
It depends on so much. I started at 222 pounds. I began exercising, put a full gym in my home, as soon as I got the green light from my doctor. I toned as I lost. Luckily I had no loose skin. I'm not sure if that was the key or just simply helpful.
Did you lift weights more so than cardio in order to achieve your results?
-
I hear various stories about how long the procedure takes and I understand it's different for every person and every surgeon.
If you don't mind sharing, how long did your procedure take?
-
It just hit me that I'm scheduled to get sleeved in 3 weeks...21 days....
Not sure if I'm excited or scared...probably a little bit of both.
Time to keep the nerves at bay and do this thing!!!!!
Can't wait to get cute once more!!!!!
I'm excited too. My surgery is Monday!!!

Hey everyone! I'm new for the most part. I'm scheduled for surgery on December 10th and I was hoping to find someone to was getting sleeved right around the same time that would want to talk. For motivation, worries, support, someone who is literally in this process at the same point in time as me. :-)
I am schedule for December 7th so we can support each other through this journey!

I have a BMI of 35 and was recently approved by Aetna. I also have high blood pressure that is controlled with meds but no other conditions.
-
Thanks. Aetna has a 15 day window, but it only took Aetna 4 business days to approve it.
-
I am super excited. I was notified by the doctor today that Aetna approved me for the sleeve and will be able to schedule my surgery on Monday morning!!! Wooohooo!!
-
Hi Everyone,
My Dr. Submitted everything to Aetna on Thursday. I spoke with Aetna on Friday and they confirmed they received everything. Per Aetna they have a two week turn around time. Has anyone with Aetna had them take that long?

Any advice on how to avoid having extra skin when losing the weight? Are you taking any collagen supplements or anything to help the elasticity in your skin?

You look great. This is inspiring!!!
