When I got the insulin pump. I hated it. My doctor said only way he knew to get the pump off was to lose weight. He said 80 to a 100 pounds. I thought how can that be possible with no thyroid and 53 years old. He said the WLS. I am 7 weeks out and still have the pump but instead of 200 units I am at 24 to 40 units a day. I hope the pump comes off soon.

199.2 finally this week Onederland slow process but it works. My biggest concern is I am still on insulin. Another 40 lbs to go. Down 46.

Week 6 had my appendix out. They say it was a fluke. More painful than sleeve. Lost 40 pounds since Nov 18. Now swollen and in pain bc of surgery. Sleeve swollen from new surgery they incubated me taking anti nausea pills hoping it helps. Had no issues after sleeve but appendix kicking my ass after the fact.

I am back. Rough week throw up several times not sure why. My sugar are still not normal but better insulin use drop from 200 a day to 48. Still wearing the insulin pump but in time it will come off. Trying going back to work tired so now half a days. Good news no weight lost for over a week yesterday I weight in at dr thinking no lost I went from 236 to 209.8. This is crazy no reason no rhyme. I will say the body thinking it starving is part of the issue. I hope to get release for exercise at my Dec 21 visit. Then I am going to bust out baby...lol

My doc ok'd my remedy for moving my digestive system along. It worked before surgery. I am a holitic nut so she said go ahead. You rub Castrol oil in your tummy place a plastic bag or Sara wrap over tummy and place s heating pad. It moved gas out etc. Castrol oil works if you swallow also but way too yucky at this stage of healing. I promised it works. My colonic theraphist says it's been used for hundreds of years. My mom gave me as a child also.

It a progress and if some lose more today and others next week we all get there at our pace. I have watch several friends do this and not one was the same. I thought I lose a lot but the doc today said no she has seen people lose twice as much because the started at a higher weight.

Have you tried the liquid multi for bariatic patients. I bought on Amazon by Wellese. It taste fine and stays down. They have liquid calcium also. I had surgery the 18 th started veg and protein Nov 1 then switch to pre-op liquid today is the 23rd just step on my scale since Nov 1 I am down 26 pounds from 239 to 213. I am in schock. See doc today. Concern this is moving too quick to be heathy.

I sleep everywhere nothing works.

Had mine on Nov 18 still in hospital. I have gas pains all over especially shoulders. Any ideas how to help. I walk I breath. I am in so much pain.

Surgery in morning. I need to pack. Took insulin pump off on Sunday kept dropping to the 50s without pump at 170s Think I I am going to Christmas shop today again. Keep my mind off surgery. Can you take pills while on clear for pre?

Wish I was Friday the closer it gets the harder the wait. Lol

Yes started the low carb on Nov 1. Lost 11 pounds so far. Start all liquids on Nov 14.
